In Deadlock, the Patron is the final boss you must defeat to win the game. Of course, the journey to get there isn’t easy, as you’ll face lane bosses like Walkers and Guardians, while other teams fight to reach your Patron. So, here’s everything you need to know about Patrons in Deadlock.
What is Protector?
To win in Deadlock, you must destroy the enemy Patron at the end of the map. But to do so, you’ll need to get through some path bosses and structures first. In order, these are the Guardians, Planeswalkers, Elders/Base Guards, and Shrines.
Once you defeat the Base Guard, you will enter the enemy base. At its base, there are two buildings called shrines; You must destroy them to weaken the Protector. Shrines are located at the ends of each corner of the base, and in the center will be a Protector.
Once you destroy the Shrine, its Protector will be exposed and can be damaged. The next step is to take out your weapons, abilities, and everything else you have on the Patron and destroy it. Once you do, you can celebrate because you have won the game.
Defeating the Protector
Patron himself is not a difficult boss to beat. However, the enemy team will clearly not let you do this without a challenge. Because the Patron is so close to the enemy base, you will get wave after wave of enemy heroes trying to protect their Patron. Focus on dealing with those enemies (respawn time can be quite long towards the end of the match) then push to the Patron.

Conclusion
Patrons are relatively easy to destroy compared to bosses and other path structures. Destroying the Patron itself is not difficult; getting to that point is what is meant by Deadlock. If you have the right strategy, play well with your team, and push at the right time, you will deliver the final blow to the enemy Patron with ease.
