Indian Govt Bans PUBG Mobile among 118 Chinese Apps – PlayerZon Blog

PUBG Mobile, the most popular game in India is banned by the Indian government. The Indian government banned PUBG and 117 other Chinese apps after provoking tensions in Ladakh. This government step was taken in the interests of sovereignty and integrity, defense and security.

PUBG Mobile Banned in India

As per reports, there are almost 33 million PUBG players in India. So, for all of them, this is very sad news. Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, PUBG was banned along with 117 other applications under Article 69A of the Information Technology Law.

It said that these apps are involved in activities prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, security of state and public order.”

In a statement, the ministry said,

“This decision is a targeted step to ensure India’s cyber safety, security and sovereignty.”

This step will keep everyone safe.

This is the third time, the Indian government has issued a list of banned applications. The first list banned 56 Chinese apps, at that time a skirmish occurred in Galwan Valley when 20 Indian Soldiers were killed. Then another list appeared in July, where 47 Chinese apps were banned.

At that time, most of them thought, why can PUBG be played even though it is a Chinese application. But now, Lake Valley Incursion has brought another list of banned Chinese apps. Not only PUBG is banned in India, WeChat, Baidu, Alipay and other applications are also banned.
